DIRECTIONS: Take a left off Keoneula Blvd. into Wai Kai. Take the first left into the Event Parking area and follow the red arrows below (See Image Below). Vendor Check-in Station will be on your right. A representative will direct you to your booth location (See the image below)

After exiting HI Freeway, Follow the red arrows on the map above. First onto Fort Weaver Road then take a first right onto Keoneula Blvd. Stay on Keoneula Blvd. to almost the end of the road. Take a right into Wai Kai.
Take a left off Keoneula Blvd. into Wai Kai. Take the first left into the Event Parking area and follow the red arrows below (See Image above). Vendor Check-in Station will be on your right. A representative will direct you to your booth location (See the image below)
An Ono Grindz and Makeke representative will check you in and lead you to your booth space. NOTE:
1. Vendor set-up is from 2 pm - 3:45 pm.
2. Only One (1) Vendor vehicle is allowed on the pavement at one-time. Please wait until the first vehicle has left the pavement, before bringing your second vehicle onto the pavement.
3. Vendor vehicles may park at their booth spaces for immediate loading and unloading of their vehicles ONLY.
4. NO vehicles will be allowed in the aisles after 3:45 pm.
5. Vendors may hand-carry their items to their booths after 3:45 pm
5. Vendors must be set up and ready to sell by 4 pm.
Vendors and their vehicles must exit the Ono Grindz and Makeke Booth Area at the Mauka exit and park their vehicles in the designated Event Parking Area Only.
Vendors must park their vehicles in the designated EVENT PARKING Lot ONLY. DO NOT PARK IN THE WAI KAI CUSTOMER PARKING AREA.

NOTE: Vendors must be completely moved out by 9 pm.
Vendors may queue their vehicles at the Vendor Check-in Station beginning at 8:15 pm. PLEASE BREAK DOWN YOUR BOOTH BEFORE QUEUING YOUR VEHICLE.
Vendors may break down the interior of their booth if SOLD OUT But may not break down their tents and may NOT leave the premises until the event is over at 8:15 pm. The vendor must place a sign on the table that says "SOLD OUT". All other vendors shall not break down their booths until 8 pm. Vendors SHALL NOT be allowed to bring their vehicles into the Booth Area until 8:15 pm (vendors' vehicles must be escorted into the Booth Space Area by an Ono Grindz and Makeke Representative). Vendors should break down their booth space before driving vehicle to booth.
Vendors wishing to drive their vehicles into the Booth Space Area must check in at the Vendor Check-in Station and an Ono Grindz and Makake representative will escort you and your vehicle to your booth.
Vendors and their vehicles must exit the booth space area via the mauka side exit. EXCEPTION: FOOD TRUCKS MAY EXIT VIA THE MAKAI SIDE EXIT.
Vendors must Check-out with an Ono Grindz and Makeke Representative to make sure the area is clean. Vendors' spaces that require cleaning due to left trash, spilt oil, or similar will be billed a $200 cleaning fee.

REMINDERS
Please be aware of and abide by the below Vendor rules
NO VENDORS are allowed to sell Single Use Plastic Bottled Water. Water bottled in multi-use aluminum cans may be sold. We encourage attendees to bring their own re-fillable flasks and utilize bottle-filling stations on site.
Only White Tents and Branded tents will be allowed. No colored tents. Amazon has some free delivery if you order now - it delivers in 10 days or less with prime. White Tents may also be found at Lowes.
Public Restrooms are located on the mauka side of the wave deck, or on the lower boardwalk cafe level.
Vendors must park their vehicles in the Event Parking Lot ONLY. Do not park in the Wai Kai Parking Lot located to the right of the entrance as you enter Wai kai.
Parking in the aisle is for ACTIVE Loading/ Unloading of your vehicles ONLY.
> Unloading is allowed from 2 pm - 3:45 pm (No vehicles allowed in the aisles after 3:45 pm). All vehicles must be escorted to their booth space from the Check-in station entrance ONLY. ABSOLUTELY NO CLIMBING OR DRIVING YOUR VEHICLE OVER THE CURB.
> Loading allowed after 8:15 pm (Vehicles may be escorted into aisles at 8:15 pm). All vehicles need to be escorted into the aisles from the Check-in station entrance ONLY. ABSOLUTELY NO CLIMBING OR DRIVING YOUR VEHICLE OVER THE CURB. Booth should be completely broken down and packed before bringing your vehicle into the aisle for loading.
A $50 fine will be accessed to any vendor caught driving your or your employee's vehicle over the curb.
For the safety of our attendees and vendor personnel, all vendor vehicles must be escorted to their booth space by an Ono Grindz and Makeke representative. Vendors of Unescorted vehicles shall be fined $50 per incidence.
Please make sure DOH Event Permit Card is displayed in full view
Please make sure you take all your trash with you when you leave. And you return the area the way that you received it. Trash receptacles on-site are for attendees only. A $200 Clean Up Fee will be accessed to any vendor leaving the area a mess.
VENDORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SPILLS AND/OR MESS LEFT IN THEIR BOOTH AREA
Representatives from Wai Kai have noticed an increase in the number of marks on the asphalt from spills (ie. oil, food, juice, ice cream, vehicle engines, ash, etc.). PLEASE BE SURE TO COVER ALL ASPHALT AREAS IN YOUR BOOTH WHERE SPILLS MAY OCCUR. We will be assessing vendors a $200 cleaning fee if the asphalt is damaged, dirtied, or stained in any way. So please cover your area and protect the asphalt.
Ono Grindz and Makeke at Wai Kai will go on rain or shine. Unless the State of Hawaii or Honolulu County determines a state of emergency or Family Expositions in its sole discretion decides to cancel the event.

The Ono Grindz and Makeke at Wai Kai is a PLASTIC-FREE Event, and reusable or compostable serveware MUST BE used. Vendors must use either reusable or 100% BPI certified compostable/ biodegradable serveware for their food distribution and plastic bottled beverages, utensils, and other plastic serveware are NOT ALLOWED. A list of distributors that sell 100% BPI certified compostable products is provided below for your information.
Wai Kai Commercial Development, LLC (WKCD) host for the Ono Grindz and Makeke Farmers market IS COMMITTED TO MAKING RESPONSIBLE DECISIONS TO PROTECT AND REDUCE OUR IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT AND OCEANS BY IMPLEMENTING SUSTAINABLE ACTIONS FOR OUR FUTURE. WE REQUIRE CLIENT AND ITS VENDORS DO THE SAME.
Sustainable practices are essential due to the Projectโs proximity to the ocean, lagoon, and natural wildlife that surrounds us. To further this sustainability objective, vendors shall comply, with the following requirements:
1. No single-use plastics or other disposable plastic products shall be permitted at the Event. This includes but is not limited to, plastic bags, packaging, bottles, beverage containers, sample cups/spoons, straws, and polystyrene foam (a.k.a. Styrofoam.
2. Vendors shall, if possible and commercially reasonable, use reusable products and packaging rather than disposable products and packaging at the Event.
3. If disposable products are used, such products must be 100% BPI certified compostable and, with respect to food service items, meet the American Society for Testing and Materials d6400 or d6868 standards. Disposable products that do not meet these standards are expressly prohibited.
4. Compostable โplasticsโ may be used, but only if they are 100% BPI certified compostable.
5. Vendors are encouraged to use linen napkins for the Event. If Vendor does not use linen napkins, then paper napkins may be used, provided that such napkins are either 100% BPI certified compostable, or made with at least 80% post-consumer recycled material and non-bleached, and that such paper napkins are stored in containers.
6. Beverages in aluminum bottles or glass bottles are permitted and may be served at the Event, provided that such bottles shall be recycled in accordance with applicable provisions of this Agreement.
7. Family Expositions and Vendors shall advise attendees to bring reusable, non-plastic water bottles to the Event, and shall allow attendees to bring their own reusable cup, utensil, or plate to the Event.
8. Only paper or other compostable straws are permitted for use at the Event. Vendors shall offer straws only upon request.

The Ono Grindz and Makeke at Wai Kai have specific display rules for the event. Please read the below for details:
NOTE:
1. The weather in Kapolei can be hot and windy. Please plan your display accordingly.
2. The Ono Grindz and Makeke at KROC Center Hawaii is a RAIN or SHINE event. No Refunds will be given due to inclement weather.
3. No solicitation of funds is allowed at the event.
All 10'x10' tents must be WHITE in color or professionally branded tents.
All tents must be weighted down. You may use blocks, weights, water buckets, etc. NO STAKES may be used to secure tents to the ground.
All signs (product signs, pricing signs, etc) MUST BE PRINTED (Not handwritten). Chalk and chalkboards are approved for use.
Yes, Banners may be displayed, but must be tied and taught. No tape may be used to hang banners.
All vendor displays and equipment must stay within your designated area. If you purchased a 10'x10' booth space you may not exceed the 10'x10' area. If you do exceed the 10'x10' area you will be charged for a 2nd booth space.
Yes, all tables must be covered with SKIRTS OR DRAPES of some kind.
No, All vendors and their personnel must stay within their assigned booth space(s) while promoting their business products and/or services and MAY NOT encroach into the aisles for any reason including the handing out of literature, surveys, entertainment, and/ or sampling.
Yes, All outdoor vendors are required to have no less than a class 2A:10BC Fire Extinguisher. Food vendors that are cooking require a Class K-rated fire extinguisher
Yes, Booth spaces are provided unfurnished. Vendors are allowed to bring their own tents and furnishings.
Yes, All exhibitors will be responsible to keep their area clean and are responsible for the removal of their own trash. Trash receptacles on-premise, when available, are for attendee use only. Vendors will return their booth space in the same condition as when it was received. Any damages to their booth space area, including oil spills, staining, etc. will incur a $200 cleaning/ damage fee.
No smoking of any kind, including vaping, will NOT be allowed at the event and No alcoholic beverages are allowed to be consumed at the event
All Food Tent vendors that are cooking and/ or preparing food must place an underlayment on the ground to catch any oil and or dripping from seeping or staining the grass or asphalt. Any damages to their booth space area, including oil spills, staining, etc. will incur a $200 cleaning/ damage fee.

No, not to us, but you are responsible for any Hawaii Department of Health Certifications/ permits/ etc. that are required by the State of Hawaii for the sale of your food item.
The following rules and regulations pertain to all vendors at the Ono Grindz and Makeke at KROC Center Hawaii event.
All vendors must designate and have a representative on-site at the event during all hours of the event.
Vendors must have a valid General Excise Tax License and provide a copy to Family Expositions
Vendors are responsible for the collection and payment of all sales tax collected at the event.
Vendors must submit a list of all products and services being sold at the event.

If vendor space is not occupied by the start of the event then the vendor will forfeit their booth fee.
Vendors must take their trash home with them
Leaving merchandise within your booth is at your own risk. Security or Show Personnel may request to see identification at anytime to verify exhibitor status.
Vendors operating sound-producing instruments, devices, and/or equipment is PROHIBITED unless authorized by Show Management.
Members of Ono Grindz and Makeke will be available throughout the event to answer your questions. You may find us walking around or at the Information Booth.
